An old favorite of our family, originally from Kathy Simmons--
SHORT RIBS IN MUSTARD
2 pounds short ribs
1 cup chopped onions
1/3 cup Gulden's brown mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic (minced)
Dash of pepper.
Preheat oven to 325° F.
Place short ribs in a pan so they fit snugly. Put onions on top of ribs.
Mix remaining ingredients together and dump over all ribs and onions.
Bake, tightly covered, in a 325° F. oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.Serve.
